The Procedure

One operation, planned around your face.

Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose so it sits in proportion with the rest of the face. It can refine the bridge, the tip, or the nostrils, and it can correct the structures inside the nose that make breathing difficult. There is no standard nose, so there is no standard plan.

01

Cosmetic Rhinoplasty

For the shape of the nose: a hump on the bridge, a rounded or drooping tip, a crooked line, nostrils that feel too wide. The goal is a nose that fits your face and still looks like you.

02

Functional Rhinoplasty

For breathing: a deviated septum, a collapsed nasal valve, an old fracture. Function can be corrected on its own or together with cosmetic changes in a single operation.

03

Revision Rhinoplasty

For noses operated on elsewhere. Secondary surgery is more demanding than a first rhinoplasty, and it calls for a surgeon who performs it regularly and will tell you honestly what can be improved.

Meet Dr. Kassis

“Most patients don’t want a different face. They want their nose to stop being the first thing they notice in a photograph.”

Salam Kassis, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon. He completed his residency at Yale and his fellowship in facial plastic surgery at Vanderbilt, and patients travel to his Bowling Green practice from across Kentucky and Tennessee.

His approach is conservative: small, deliberate changes that keep the nose in balance with the rest of the face, and an honest conversation up front about what surgery can and cannot do.

What to expect

The process is simple, and it starts with a short form.

Step 01

Tell us about your nose

Complete a short form about your goals and history, and share a few photos from the front and side. It takes a few minutes.

Step 02

Meet with Dr. Kassis

A private consultation, in person or by video. You’ll talk through what bothers you, what is possible, and whether surgery is the right choice at all.

Step 03

Review your plan

If you decide to move forward, you’ll receive a written plan: the surgical approach, pricing, a date, and what recovery actually looks like.

Step 04

Surgery and follow-up

Dr. Kassis performs the operation himself and follows your recovery personally, from the first week until the result has fully settled.

By Appointment Only
